You can use this form to request annual leave up to 12 months in advance.

All requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive an email confirming whether your request has been approved or declined.

Before You Submit

• If you are a Term Time only worker, you are not permitted to take holiday in term time, in line with your contract.
• Do not book travel or make holiday arrangements until you have received written authorisation that your request has been approved.
• Requests will not be reconsidered on the basis that you have already booked a holiday before approval.

Holiday Entitlement

• Full-time employees receive 28 days’ annual leave per year (6 April – 5 April).
• Bank holidays are normal working days and are included in your allowance.
• If you wish to be off on a bank holiday, you must submit an annual leave request and receive approval.

Mandatory Closure Periods (2025–2026)

The business closes over Christmas and the February half term. Annual leave is normally taken during these periods (mandatory leave):

• Christmas: 22/12/2025 – 04/01/2026 (inclusive)
• February half term: 16/02/2026 – 22/02/2026 (inclusive)

If you have a genuine need to take this leave at a different time, you may submit a request. A limited number of requests to reassign mandatory leave may be approved each year, subject to staffing levels.

Peak Period Restrictions

June, July and September are peak operational months. During this period:

• Only short periods of leave (typically 2–3 days) can be approved.
• All approvals are subject to staffing levels and availability.
